What is QuESO?
QuESO is a free two-day workshop exploring quantum science, technologies, and engineering, hosted at Northeastern University’s Quantum Materials & Sensing Institute on Oct 12th and 13th. This workshop is primarily aimed at senior undergraduates or Master’s students who are interested in quantum technologies – being a physicist is not a requirement!

What are Quantum Technologies and why should I care?
The short answer is: join us on October 12th and 13th to find out!
The longer answer is that these are an important emerging class of technologies which use the unique properties of quantum systems to enable new capabilities (types of computation, sensitivities, functionalities). From quantum computing to quantum sensing, these emerging new technologies are poised to revolutionize many fields – this workshop will provide an introduction to quantum systems and hands-on experience working with various quantum technologies.
