A: No! QuESO is a free two-day workshop
Q: Can I register if I’m not affiliated with Northeastern University?
A: Unfortunately, no. For the inaugural workshop, we’re restricting participation to Northeastern University only. In future years, we hope to expand participation!
Q: Who is the intended audience?
A: This workshop is aimed at upper-level undergraduates and graduate students early in their career. The aim is to connect concepts you have encountered in other contexts with real-world application.
Q: Is it just a series of seminars?
A: No! The aim of this workshop is to provide hands-on experience working with real quantum technologies. We’ll be using real equipment, collecting real data, and discussing the role and impact of quantum science in emerging fields.
Q: Is it catered?
A: Yes, this is literally a free lunch situation. Join us for some interesting science, discussion, and food!
Q: Can I attend remotely?
A: No, this is a hands-on workshop. However, we do post the material for the work shop at our Resources page!
